Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Begin by thoroughly washing your hands with soap. Fold the cup. There are various folding methods you can try to find the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. Once inserted, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating it is correctly positioned. If unsure, feel the base of the cup—it should be round or oval when properly inserted. If you notice any indentations or folds, the cup has not fully opened. Gently grip the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once it's in place, gently tug on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is set, and the cup is successfully positioned!
