Wash your hands and get into a comfortable position. Insert the folded menstrual cup and once the entire cup (and stem) is inside of you, remove your fingers and let it open up.
Unfortunately, I didn't get along with this cup. This is my first cup.
Pros: It fulfills its function - collects blood, doesn't leak if inserted correctly. High-quality silicone, pleasant to the touch, smooth.
Cons: At first, it was difficult to insert it correctly - it wouldn't open up. Thankfully, on YouTube, you can find a couple of secrets from those who already use it. I tried them, and it opened up. As soon as it opened up, it started putting pressure on my bladder. I pushed it in deeper, and I felt pain in my ovaries and lower back. I thought it was because of my period, it happens to me sometimes. I used a regular pad at night. The pain went away. In the morning, I went back to the cup, and the same sensations returned. It's uncomfortable. Although I can't feel it as if something is inserted.
I think it's not the right size for me. Although it says one size. And I have given birth twice, if that's important. For now, I have returned to using pads.
