Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. First, make sure to wash your hands with soap. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods - you can try them and choose the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. Once inserted, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating that it is correctly positioned. If you are unsure, feel the base of the cup - it should be round or oval when properly inserted. If you feel dents or folds, it means the cup hasn't unfolded completely. Gently hold the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once the cup is in place, gently pull on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is successfully positioned!
