Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Begin by washing your hands thoroughly with soap. Fold the cup; there are different folding techniques you can try to find the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. Once in place, the cup should open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating it has been correctly positioned. If you're unsure, feel the bottom of the cup—it should be round or oval when properly inserted. If you detect dents or folds, the cup hasn't fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a seal. Once the seal is formed, gently tug on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is in place, and the cup is correctly positioned!
