The MeLuna Classic Shorty Menstrual Cup is specifically designed for those who require extra attention during their menstrual cycle. This model is suitable for young women who have not given birth, as they tend to have a shorter and narrower vagina. It can also be used by anyone who has experienced injuries or undergone surgical procedures. Thanks to its compact size and well-considered design, this accessory does not cause discomfort when worn, allowing you to go about your daily activities with ease: sleep, swim, or engage in active leisure. Moreover, the use of this cup does not lead to toxic shock syndrome, allowing for its safe use for up to 8-10 hours.

Before using the cup for the first time, sterilize it in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Make sure to wash your hands with soap first. Fold the cup. There are different folding techniques you can try, so experiment to find the one that works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. Once inserted, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating that it is correctly positioned. If you're unsure, feel the bottom of the cup—it should be round or oval when properly inserted. If you feel any dents or folds, it means the cup hasn't fully opened. Gently hold the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once it is in place, try tugging slightly on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is successfully positioned!
