Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Make sure to wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods - try them out and choose the one that works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. Once in place, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating it has been properly positioned. If unsure, feel the base of the cup - it should be round or oval when correctly inserted. If you detect any dents or folds, the cup hasn't fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to twist it to create a suction seal. Once it's in place, gently pull on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction seal is established, and the cup is successfully inserted!
