Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. First, be sure to wash your hands with soap. Fold the cup. There are different folding techniques—try them out and choose the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup will open with a noticeable suction or popping sound, indicating that it has been correctly positioned. If in doubt, feel the base of the cup—it should be round or oval upon insertion. If you detect any dents or indentations, it means the cup hasn't fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once it’s in place, gently pull on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is successfully positioned!
