Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Make sure to wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods—try several to find the one that works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. Once inserted, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating it is correctly placed. If you're unsure, feel the base of the cup—it should be round or oval when properly inserted. If you notice dents or indentations, the cup hasn't fully opened. Gently grip the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to form a suction seal. Once it's in place, lightly pull on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is set, and the cup is correctly positioned!
