Before first use, sterilize the cup by boiling it in water for 3-5 minutes. First, make sure to wash your hands with soap. Fold the cup. There are various folding methods – you can try different ones to find the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. The cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating it has been properly positioned. If you are unsure, feel the bottom of the cup – it should be round or oval when inserted correctly. If you feel dents or indentations, it means the cup has not fully expanded. Gently hold the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to twist it to create a suction seal. Once it is in place, try pulling slightly on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is successfully installed!
