This is not a serum, it is oil (liquid fatty oil). It does not absorb into the skin at all. I have to wash it off.
I will write a comparison with their serum in the blue bottle - I really like both of them. This one is more nourishing and perfect for cold weather, as well as for aging and sensitive skin. I apply it at night, while I prefer the blue one during the day. It absorbs quickly without any stickiness or rolling off, and I can see that it nourishes my skin. It works great on the eyelids too.
