How to Clean a Makeup Brush:
Step 1: Hold the brush with the bristles facing down, ensuring the bristles are closest to the stream of warm running water. Gently squeeze the bristles to remove any remaining makeup or excess water.
Step 2: Apply a small amount of olive oil (for natural bristles) and mild soap to your hand or directly onto the bristles after spraying them with warm water to remove excess makeup.
Step 3: Massage the bristles in the soapy solution in your hand, allowing water to flow through the bristles. Move the brush bristles in gentle, circular motions.
Step 4: Once the water running through the bristles becomes clear, stop the water flow. Ensure you do not submerge the bristles in water or wet the ferrule.
Step 5: Use a towel to gently squeeze out any remaining water from the brush. Allow the bristles to air dry in a well-ventilated area.
