I bought this specifically for tattoos, to moisturize the skin and aid in its recovery after healing. It's a very good cream that works exceptionally well for dry skin, and a little goes a long way. To cover a large area of skin, you only need a small amount of the cream. The consistency is thick, but when applied, it quickly melts from body heat and spreads easily and evenly.

I received samples at the pharmacy and applied them to my child's cheeks. It helped after a couple of uses, but it needs to be applied constantly. The consistency is similar to Vaseline, it takes a long time to absorb and leaves a shiny finish. However, it helped us more than Mustela and their Atopi Control cream.
This product is rather peculiar, to be honest. It sometimes helps, and sometimes it doesn't. I have a miniature version, so I took it to work to apply it on my lips or cuticles. When my skin is dry and there's nothing else at hand, I can apply it once and have a little fun with it. However, it doesn't provide any lasting effect. If you think about it, it's simply vaseline with glycerin.
I was recommended this cream by girls who do manicures because I have very dry hands in the winter. The effect is there, but you need to apply the cream several times. I do not recommend applying it to the face for people with allergic skin as it caused redness on my skin. I agree with the previous comment. This is disappointing. It is not a balm, but rather a vaseline-like substance. It is difficult to squeeze out of the tube and difficult to apply. I will not buy it again.
