A noble and profound composition, capable of instantly enchanting and transporting thoughts to fragrant floral gardens enveloped in beauty and sophistication... Le Couvent des Minimes Aqua Palmaris can be roughly described in this way, but even that doesn't tell you the full extent of how strong feelings one may have for the perfume. It sounds great on women's and men's skin, adding notes of sophistication, luxury, and impeccability to any image.
The olfactory pyramid of Le Couvent des Minimes Aqua Palmaris Eau de Toilette :
Top notes open up with fresh greenish woody-orange motifs of petitgrain.
Heart notes are filled with a spicy aroma reminiscent of the scent of orange with notes of bitterness that come from the delightful neroli.
Base notes capture a lingering vanilla haze, spilling over with an intoxicating trail.
The perfume is excellent, it has a luxurious scent that is unlike anything I've ever heard before. You won't mistake it for any other fragrance.
Error. The fragrance of the year 2020. And about the fragrance itself: The first notes are very floral, like an old-fashioned "lily of the valley" cologne, it even disappointed me, but over time, the notes started to unfold, I think there are more notes than advertised... the unfolding led to something familiar... and it's something in between Montale Orange Flowers and Lancome Poeme. There is no trace of Gabrielle. Montale is dense, richly honey-floral with a smoky hint, Poeme is yellow-white-floral, Aqua Palmaris is primarily floral, slightly citrusy, with a hint of spices. It's not dense, suitable for daytime wear. It has good longevity on the skin and even longer on clothes. I think it's suitable for all seasons. It's unisex, but more on the feminine side. They are all different, but the reference to honey-white floral has slightly blurred into floral soap. Definitely test it before buying, it's not from the category of "everyone will like it"!
