The fragrance did not disappoint!
I didn't order it here, but a couple of years ago, after reading reviews about its similarity to Tom Ford's Tuscan Leather, I decided to try it. Well, let me tell you, don't make the same mistake - there is absolutely no resemblance between these fragrances, no matter what bloggers write or say (I own a Ford, so I know what I'm talking about). The quality of this fragrance is terrible - I can't even break it down into notes because it's indescribable, just cheap synthetic chemicals. Maybe it could work as a car freshener, but I wouldn't recommend it. I also bought another fragrance from the same brand, supposedly Black Orchid - it was also a nightmare. In conclusion, Just Jack is a complete disappointment, it's not perfumery at all.
Total disappointment. The fragrance of this perfume does not smell like leather, as it is called, but rather like cigarette tobacco. It's as if you're sniffing an unlit cigarette, maybe with some spices, but definitely not like Italian leather. It's really disappointing... And it's not unisex either, it's purely masculine. My husband said he'll keep it for himself, but if he gets tired of it, I'll take it for the car.
For the first minute or two, the fragrance is a bit chemical, but then it opens up to a leathery scent with notes of frankincense, raspberry, and wood. The fragrance is very long-lasting, and just one spray is enough, otherwise it can be overwhelming to the point of giving you a headache. It is very similar to Tom Ford Tuscan Leather. I am satisfied with my purchase!
