Unfortunately, the shade did not match. I had read that it was too light, but it actually darkened my skin tone. On the positive side, it is lightweight and does not accentuate skin imperfections. However, the negative aspect is its low pigmentation. It looks like a primer.
This Korean BB cream is very atypical. I have been using them exclusively in recent years. There were many different ones, and I was satisfied with all of them, but not this one. It has almost no pigment, so I have to mix this BB cream with a denser product to have at least something on my face. If you have uneven skin tone, redness, pigmentation, or acne scars, this is not the right choice for you.
Here is my impression after the first application. I just received the package and the cream is simply amazing! It is very lightweight and has a subtle pigmentation, but it evens out the overall tone of the face. It is suitable for fair-skinned individuals. It doesn't feel heavy on the skin and doesn't leave any shine. The packaging claims to be anti-wrinkle, but it contains green tea, so it's strange that it targets wrinkles instead of inflammations. However, this is not important. The scent is light, and I don't want to nitpick about it since I liked the cream in terms of other aspects. The packaging is pleasant and visually appealing, with a shelf life of up to 25 years. I will gladly continue using it. Special thanks to Makeup for the fast delivery. If my initial impression changes, I will update my comment.
I really liked the cream. It blends well with my skin tone and doesn't dry it out. It also covers light redness effectively and lasts all day. The texture of the cream is not thick, but rather light. It is perfect for my fair skin.
The pigmentation is non-existent. I don't complain about the shade as I am pale, but I am surprised by the fact that there seems to be no pigment in the cream at all. After using it, my skin is exactly the same as it was before. I like light coverage, but there is none here, not even the tone of the face can be evened out because within a few seconds, it seems like nothing was applied at all.
I forgot to add a rating.
This is a good BB cream, but it may not be suitable for everyone and every season. However, it is truly light and suitable for fair-skinned individuals. After application, it gives a shiny finish, so it is suitable for either dry skin or oily/combination skin during fall-winter. Additionally, it does not have SPF, so those who use it in the summer should consider this. Nevertheless, it looks good on the face, has light coverage, and will not cover serious flaws, but that's not what a BB cream is meant to do. Its purpose is to even out the complexion, and it does this well, especially considering its price. Of course, Erborian is the best BB cream I have tried, but it comes at a different price.
I really like this BB cream. It matches perfectly with my fair skin tone, and it doesn't dry out my skin or clog my pores. The consistency is just right, not too watery or thick. Even though it's only 40ml, it has lasted me a long time. I ordered it on September 21, 2021 (I checked my order history), and I still haven't run out. I think I'll need to restock sometime around September-October again.
This is a great BB cream for fair skin, I've bought it more than once. However, it may not be suitable for dry skin.
The scent strangely resembles that of old cosmetics. It is not suitable for skin prone to flakiness as it accentuates all unevenness, wrinkles, and so on. However, it may be suitable for oily skin.
I don't understand the negative reviews and general disapproval))) The cream is very good for its price. First of all, the shade is perfect for me, which is rare: it doesn't make my skin look yellow or pink, it's light with an olive undertone. Therefore, for the first time, I can't see any difference between my face and neck after applying it. It's very economical and easy to apply, BUT you need to choose the right base (not everyone knows, but even with BB cream, you need a base). I have very oily skin with large pores, so I apply a cream-gel or aloe gel underneath it, and the BB cream applies perfectly and covers imperfections, pores, and even redness on the chin and around the nose. It does something that no other BB cream has done before. I fix it with a mattifying powder and it stays perfect for up to 8 hours, after that, it needs touching up (not
I don't understand the negative reviews. If you don't choose the lightest shade in the range of foundations and other face products, don't claim to be fair-skinned. I always use the lightest shade and they always turn yellow or pink on me (it fits perfectly, yes, it might be lighter than light, but it blends with the skin and has a slightly grayish undertone, which looks great on the skin!). However, one downside is that it can be a bit oily and not suitable for oily skin. After using it, my face becomes slightly shiny, not too noticeable though, but it does feel greasy. I have combination skin and it works fine for me. It doesn't clog pores, by the way. It doesn't slide off, it stays on all day (well, in the areas where there's no mask). So, if you have very fair and non-oily skin, this is a wonderful product! Others should just pass by.
I didn't like it. It's not a BB cream, but rather a light, thick foundation.
I agree with the previous reviews.
I did not like the BB cream. It is too light and applies poorly.
I do not recommend this product as its composition is harmful.
I have been using BB creams on a daily basis for 3 years, mostly of Korean origin. During this time, I have tried many different brands in various price ranges, so I definitely have something to compare with. BB Farmstay mostly has positive reviews online, but I can describe it as "beautiful on the outside and terrible on the inside". I did not like this BB cream at all, it doesn't do anything that the manufacturer claims. Especially, I did not like its consistency. It is oily, very thick, and sticky, which feels heavy and uncomfortable on the skin, like a thick layer of greasy film. It can only be distributed properly with a sponge, and even then, I can't call the coverage beautiful. Moreover, its coverage ability on a 5-point scale is only 1-1.5, meaning it can't even hide minimal imperfections and color nuances on the skin. Its lasting power is a whole separate story. It only stayed on my face for less than 2 hours, and then I had an irresistible urge to wash it off. This is a personal record for me, truly disappointing. Without setting it with powder, it is impossible to use this BB cream as it moves around the face, and it doesn't even have minimal self-fixation. The presence of powder does not extend its lasting power. I understand that in Korean understanding, a matte finish is not what we are used to, but in this case, there is no mention of any matte effect at all. Missha Perfect Cover BB or Holika Holika Shimmering Petit BB, which are claimed to have a radiant finish, look more matte on the face than this Farmstay. As for the positives, I can only mention the design, packaging, scent, and color, but that's it. As you may have already understood, I do not recommend it.
This product is amazing, simply a 10 out of 10. It is suitable for fair oily skin. The shade is lighter than the BB Holika Holika, with a satin finish. It definitely won't cover significant skin imperfections, but it works well for me. The price is excellent, 40ml instead of the standard 30ml, and it comes with protective foil and a cardboard box - it's even suitable for gifting. Overall, I highly recommend it and will most likely switch to using it regularly myself.
This BB cream is really cool. It has a lightweight formula that doesn't clog pores, and it does a great job at mattifying the skin.
This product is terrible. It has an unpleasant smell, reminiscent of old cream. It is a disaster for oily skin as it leaves a shiny, greasy appearance, almost as if it has been slathered with oil. The application is uneven, and it accentuates any flakiness or dry patches on the skin. I highly advise against using it.
