Omerta fragrances are designed for those who favor practicality. These long-lasting perfumes are based on high-quality aromatic components, which together create unique scents – catering to all tastes and suitable for any occasion. The men's eau de toilette, Grande Classe Homme, falls into the category of vanilla and spicy fragrance types. It is presented in a sleek bottle made of durable, transparent glass, topped with a metallic cap.
The composition opens with a citrus mix of bergamot and lemon, spiced with aromatic chords of lavender and rosemary. The heart of the fragrance is filled with cedarwood motifs with subtle echoes of sage and rosewood. The base – white musk, Tonka beans, and vanilla – forms a lasting, deep, and serene trail on the skin.
I bought this fragrance on a whim, thinking it would have a "green" scent. It turned out to be a clone of Caron Pour Un Homme de Caron, a sample of which I once bought on Notino.
Initially, it has a very intense lavender smell. Later, when it settles a bit, it becomes more vanilla-like. There is probably some musk in between.
The other notes listed in the Grande Classe pyramid (bergamot, lemon, cedar, etc.) are hardly noticeable.
In other words, Omerta tried to replicate the scent as closely as possible to the original.
If you like the scent of Caron, then go for this one, as it is significantly cheaper.
As for me, I will try to get used to it and accept it, because the lavender and vanilla scent takes me back to the past. It is a very retro smell, not even from the 70s-80s, but from the 30s.
It smells like great-grandfathers and great-grandmothers. Who knows, maybe that's the charm of the fragrance.
Four stars - the average between the scent (3) and the store's performance quality (5).
