Moisturizing Serum Medik8 Hydr8 B5 Liquid Rehydration Serum

This serum is excellent. I bought it based on the recommendation of a cosmetologist. I have combination skin and I am in my 40s. It provides moisture without leaving any oily shine. After applying the serum, I wait for a few minutes and then apply my moisturizer, and everything looks great. There is no shine or breakouts, which sometimes happen to me.

This serum is amazing, I must say it again, probably for the tenth time. The ingredients are good. Don't expect miracles, as there are none in cosmetics, it simply provides additional hydration. I use it on damp skin, followed by moisturizer. You only need a very small amount, it's enough. It is suitable for microcurrents and LED devices. For intensive care, you can add serums with Vitamin C, retinol, niacinamide, etc. underneath or on top of it, there will be no conflicts. You can also use oils. As for the downsides, the dropper is not the best, so it's better to buy a bottle with a dispenser and transfer the serum there, to avoid unnecessary contact with air.

There is no talk of moisturizing at all. It is simply sticky water that foams when applied. The skin becomes drier within a minute compared to without it. It moisturizes worse than a toner. The face is covered with a film, like egg white, it immediately starts to tighten and flake, dry and burn. There are other Medik8 serums. And there were other serums with hyaluronic acid. Without additional creams on top and other things, they gave good results and did not dry out. They could add a drop of propylene glycol or glycerin so that nothing needs to be applied on top. The toner is priced at 2000 UAH for 30 ml. I hope it at least heals due to panthenol. It is impossible to use it on its own, as many people write. Water before applying cream is not what I needed.

I absolutely love the serums from the Medik8 brand! I use the Tetra serum with vitamin C and the Hydr8 B5 hydrating serum. I apply the hydrating serum before putting on makeup, and it goes on easily and comfortably. The serum is initially slightly sticky, but it quickly absorbs and feels like it's drying, leaving a matte finish and a hydrated effect on the face. It's a great serum and a little goes a long way. It doesn't leave an oily effect like the Tetra serum, for example. The bottle is transparent glass with a dropper. I adore this brand for its quality and effective formulas. Thank you!

It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a tight or filmy feeling on the face. After applying the serum, I use a moisturizing cream from Medik8. My skin feels velvety to the touch and adequately moisturized.
