Tiger's Nest is a Buddhist monastery nestled in the mountains of Bhutan. I believe the perfumers at Memo have truly captured the essence of an Eastern temple with this fragrance.
The initial notes create a magical ensemble, opening with the scent of incense and sandalwood. It's quite intense and bold, almost masculine, and definitely not unisex at this stage. Depending on your skin type, where you apply it, and the weather, these first notes can last anywhere from half an hour to one and a half hours.
Gradually, the fragrance softens, and floral notes emerge, reminiscent of the flowers offered by temple-goers in Asia. The incense becomes richer and more enveloping, offering a warm and inviting aroma.
The perfume is long-lasting, enduring throughout the day, and even longer on hair.
So far, I've only worn it during the colder months, but I believe it will be just as delightful in the summer.
I'm thrilled with this scent. It's a smoky, floral, and balsamic blend that sets the mood, brings an atmosphere, and evokes vivid imagery.
The perfume is wonderful - just like I've tried before at Aromateka. It lasts for a whole day. We wear it together with my boyfriend. It is truly very meditative.
I have always wanted to add these perfumes to my collection. I have tested them many times in stores. I have 5 perfumes with incense and a total of 72 perfumes in my collection. In my opinion, this is one of the best incense scents - it has a pure smell with a hint of absinthe, aldehydes, and herbs. These perfumes from this brand are not very long-lasting, but maybe that's for the best. I would describe them as a scent for meditation. This incense is not like the one used in churches, if you want that kind of scent, try Jovoy Paris La Liturgie des Heures.
