This is a really cool thing. I alternate between using 20% niacinamide and vitamin C. I started a while ago with 0.25% retinol, then moved up to 0.5%, and now I'm using this one. My skin looks great - and I'm over 35.
It suited me well, as I was able to use it immediately without any retinol steps. I was initially afraid of getting a burn when using it every night, but it seems that my skin has become accustomed to other acids and nothing happened, my skin was not irritated at all. The cleansing effect was there, but not too pronounced. It is an effective and gentle retinol for oily skin.
I didn't buy it here. I ordered it immediately at 1%. Ladies, start with a lower percentage. During the first few months, my skin was peeling, but it was only noticeable when I applied foundation or concealer. I also had 2-3 painful pimples on my cheeks. However, after the "cleansing" period, my face started to look really nice and I don't have any breakouts at all. I also use this company's niacinamide.
The texture is pleasant and absorbs very quickly, leaving no stickiness behind. The retinol is effective. It is the best retinol for this price.
This serum is really great, it contains effective retinol. The skin becomes smooth, breakouts disappear and don't reappear, and post-acne marks fade quite quickly. It should be incorporated into your skincare routine gradually, especially if you are transitioning from a lower percentage of retinol.
At first, I didn't like the serum at all. It caused horrible things to happen to my skin, it peeled off in patches. But then I was shocked! I had never had such clear and even skin since childhood. I highly recommend it, but be careful and prepared for the fact that your face will be in a terrible condition for the first month. But it's definitely worth it!
I did not buy it here. I liked the serum, it does its job, but it takes a long time for it to work. The serum should be introduced gradually, as I experienced skin peeling when I used it three times a week. Then I started using it once a week and everything was fine.
This is a very cool and effective product, especially considering its price. HOWEVER! The serum is quite aggressive, so it should not be used by people with sensitive, allergic, or dry skin, and those who have never used retinol before (for such types, it is better to choose a minimal % of retinol). I used a serum with 1% retinol from another well-known brand before, but there was no effect at all.
Girls, be careful with this retinol! The next day, my skin started peeling heavily and red spots appeared. I moisturize my skin properly and apply everything according to strict rules. I had used a different percentage of retinol before, but this one turned out to be too aggressive for my skin. If you have sensitive skin, be even more cautious!
The fragrance is very pleasant. I have just started using it. I started using it twice a week. There is a slight peeling, but I cover it with the cream from the same brand. So far, I am enjoying everything.
I have been using it for a short time, but I have not experienced any breakouts or irritations. It does not cause stickiness or any other uncomfortable sensations. The texture is pleasant.
I use it as part of a skincare routine, and it is an excellent product. It provides great results and has a good composition. Even the color and consistency resemble those of expensive brands. I recommend it for those who are not ready to invest in expensive retinol options yet, as it definitely performs its functions well. Just make sure to follow the instructions for application and don't forget about proper moisturization.
In combination with vitamin C and niacinamide, the cleansing foam and exfoliant work wonders on the skin. The cosmetics did not inspire trust. However, the results on the face were remarkable. Each serum box comes with instructions on how to apply it with other products.
