Perhaps, the biggest fear a manicure lover might have is to break a nail. The mere thought of not being able to get a lovely manicure can be nothing short of a disappointment. That’s not to mention that it can be painful and cause more serious nail problems. In easy cases, filing might be all it takes to repair the broken nail. In more serious ones, it takes going to a beauty salon and get it fixed by a nail technician. That’s when F.O.X Carbon Gel can be a helpful ally.
Benefits of F.O.X Carbon Gel:
- contains natural silk fibres;
- creates a reinforcing mesh during polymerization, connecting spaces between the cracks into a single, integral surface;
- leaves a sticky layer;
- recommended for professional use only.-
1. Apply Nail Prep from F.O.X to the damaged surface of the nail.
2. Apply F.O.X Ultra Bond, an acid-free primer for extra adhesion.
3. Apply a thin priming layer of the base from F.O.X with rubbing movements. Cure in the LED/UV lamp 36/48W for 60 seconds.
4. Apply Carbon Gel to the crack area and evenly distribute the fibres without creating excess volume. Cure in a LED/UV lamp 36/48W - 60 seconds.
5. Apply a dense F.O.X base to the entire nail plate, place a drop at the apex point and level, covering the repair area. Cure in a LED/UV lamp 36/48W - 60 seconds.
6. If necessary, perform nail plate grinding. The nail is ready to be covered with gel polish.
I bought this product a few months ago (at the end of December). The consistency of the product in the jar was thick and had fibers, just as it should be. It was not watery at all. After using it for a few months, I can only praise it. I only do my own and my mom's nails. It works perfectly for fixing nail cracks, growing out corners, and even adding a little bit of length. It also strengthens the nails amazingly well - if you apply it to the entire nail, it will hold like concrete. The only difficulty (depending on the person) is that you need to file the part where the gel is applied (because the gel fibers tend to stick up a bit). Overall, this is a fantastic product. I haven't regretted buying it for a single moment. In the photo, the nail is completely covered with this gel (I applied it to strengthen the nail because it was very thin and the manicure had already lasted about one and a half weeks).
