Thierry Mugler Angel is an elegant amber vanilla fragrance for women, whose masterfully designed olfactory notes remind of carefree days of childhood and youth. Released back in 1992, it is still one of the most sought-after scents, as seductive and passionate as the woman who wears it. This explains why it has been making a lasting impression on many people for such a long time.
The olfactory pyramid of Thierry Mugler Angel:
Top notes open with spicy bergamot, juicy melon and sunny peach, which envelop in a veil of mystery and magnificence from the first sniff.
Heart notes are replete with mouth-watering chocolate and caramel accents, which are grounded beautifully with the passion flower.
Base notes are marked by patchouli, sandalwood, vanilla and musk, leaving an enticing trail behind.
I bought these perfumes for my mom, as they are one of her favorites, and she’s really happy with them. The scent is just as lovely and delicate as before, though I find it quite unique. At the same time, I also got her the new Alien by Mugler, and she liked those even more. The new ones have a richer, sweeter fragrance that is instantly noticeable.
Hello! I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my thoughts on this. I first tried the elixir, and it differs significantly from the classic Angel in terms of its scent profile. The elixir has a simpler composition, whereas the classic Angel unfolds in a very intriguing way. Someone mentioned in a review that Angel is similar to Agent Provocateur, but I completely disagree—Agent Provocateur doesn't even come close to Angel!
I'm a bit puzzled about the longevity, though. The classic Angel seems to fade away in just about 2 hours, while the elixir lasts for at least 4 hours, if not more. Also, many people say these are winter fragrances, but I can't agree with that statement! There are indeed very heavy, sweet scents more suitable for cold weather, but both the classic Angel and the elixir are versatile.
By the way, I immediately got along with both fragrances, and I don't understand those who say they are "overpowering." Wishing everyone peace and kindness!
Mugler, in this bottle, is like the bang of a judge's gavel. Verdict: Guilty! Everyone notices the scent and says you smell like perfume. You struggle to get used to it, but eventually, it wins you over, and you stop noticing it. I recommend it to fans of classic fragrances who aren't afraid of a heavy aftertaste. You will smell expensive and assertive.
A fragrance from the "kill everything alive" category. One spray and you're knocked out. I'm still trying to understand what this scent reminds me of, whether it's expired cough syrup from Soviet times... something unnatural and unpleasant for my nose.
Here they say... so it seems the Angel didn't choose you... well, okay, maybe this isn't my Angel.
I'm glad I only bought a fragment and not the whole star, because I was planning to buy a star. How can it be... the fragrance pyramid is simply magnificent, but in reality, it's just impossible to breathe. Now I don't know what to do with these 10 ml. I doubt I'll risk spraying even once. Let them stay, I'll come back to them after some time, who knows, maybe the Angel will take pity on me.
Fantastic fragrance that is always with me! It unfolds incredibly in autumn and winter. I have both a large size and a travel size. Just one or two sprays are enough for the whole day. My favorite fragrance out of all Mugler scents.
