I mistakenly rated it 5 stars in the previous review, but actually, it deserves a solid 3 stars. That's just my opinion.
I didn't quite understand this oil. First of all, I want to mention the smell. It is very specific. If you ever made "porridge" from elderberries in your childhood, well, that's exactly the smell))) It smells like elderberries. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but I started getting purulent inflammations, possibly due to insufficient cleansing with this oil or because it doesn't wash off well with the cleanser... I still haven't figured it out, I'll investigate further.
I didn't buy it here, but since many people rely on makeup reviews like I do, I'll write a review about this product. This is the worst one I've ever had. It kind of does its job, but not really, as they say, there's nothing bad and nothing good about it.
I really liked this oil! It dissolves cosmetics well. However, it does have a very specific smell.
This oil has simply been delightful: the scent, the cleansing, and it rinses off easily! Before this, I had used a hydrophilic oil from Payot that reminded me of plain vegetable oil, which required additional rinsing. The Clarins oil cleanses excellently, smells fantastic, and rinses off beautifully with water.
I really like this product. It removes makeup nicely, is economical, and doesn't have any unpleasant smell.
I really liked the face oil. It is my first cleansing product from Clarins and it turned out to be a good choice, although I hesitated for a long time.
I apply it on dry skin and then rinse it off with water. It removes foundation and waterproof concealer well. However, it doesn't work as effectively for mascara; I need to first wet it with regular water and wipe it off with a cotton pad, or simply use micellar water.
After washing my face, my skin feels very pleasant to the touch and not tight. I haven't experienced any breakouts.
After cleansing, I use a toner (currently from La Roch-Posay, but in the future, I want to try something from Clarins as well). After the toner, I apply Clarins Extra-Firming Phyto-Serum, which I also really like. It feels very nice on my face. Throughout the day, my skin doesn't get dry or shiny (I have combination skin).
Please advise me on which eye cream and face cream to choose (I'm 30 years old). Thank you!
When in contact with water, the oil becomes cloudy (turns white) and transforms into a lotion. It moisturizes the face nicely without weighing it down or clogging pores. A wonderful product!
I didn't buy it here, but I decided to write a review. The oil is wonderful, the main thing is to use it correctly. To remove makeup, you need to squeeze a few sprays onto dry hands and apply it to a dry face. Spread it all over the face, on the eyes, cheeks, and neck... It is also great for massage. Then we take a disposable cloth (not a paper one), moisten it, and wipe the face and neck.
I didn't like the product because of its smell: it reeks of rancid oil. However, it is still usable.
Excellent oil. It removes everything without leaving a film or unpleasant sensations on the skin, and it is odorless.
This is a decent oil. It didn't cause any breakouts. It cleanses gently and effectively. It doesn't dry out the skin.
Good oil. I didn't buy it here, but the price on make up is very pleasing, so I will order it in the future. My face feels soft after using the oil. I have super sensitive skin with rosacea, and I do feel a slight tightening afterwards, but it is necessary to wash off the oil with a cleansing product (gel, cream, whatever you prefer). It doesn't cause breakouts. It removes makeup well. It doesn't remove mascara, but it wasn't claimed to do so either.
Wonderful oil, it cleanses very effectively! A superb new product, highly recommended!
