In terms of consistency, it is thick like a cream, not like a lotion. We tried this product for the first time. I like how my skin feels after using it, but not during summer as it feels a bit sticky. We used it for our child from the age of 3.5-4 years, from summer to winter. However, we have a better alternative for everyday use that is lighter and probably better. I wouldn't recommend this cream for very young children.
