I blind-bought this fragrance, which I strongly advise against doing, especially with this particular scent. It is complex and multifaceted, and it lingers on the skin endlessly, even after a shower. If you decide to make this purchase blindly, don't test it right away. Bring it home, put it in your cabinet, and forget about it for two weeks. Only then should you test it.
At first, I didn't feel disappointed, but rather shocked. It hit me with a strong smell of brandy, like being inside a barrel. There was no chocolate, just brandy, mold, old musty books... I thought it would be impossible to wear. After three days, I applied a drop to my wrist, and miraculously, there was no more alcohol, no more mold. Instead, I smelled wood, dry herbs, earth, a hint of dampness, but in a warm, pleasant, deep way. We haven't worn this fragrance in public yet, but we love each other very much at home...
In my personal opinion, this fragrance is more suitable for men or very confident, self-sufficient women. It's definitely for those aged 30 and above. It's mature, with character, its own history, dramas, and experiences. Its staying power is simply amazing. For an initial introduction, I suggest applying a small amount to your wrist. It blends with the skin as if it becomes a part of you, but it also allows you to breathe.
I love this perfume. It has a strong initial burst that transitions into a warm, slightly sweet and enveloping scent. Both my husband and I use it. I want to thank the store for the fast delivery. The courier was a very pleasant guy. I'm glad I managed to buy it at a discounted price.
