I agree with the previous reviewers, although I don't have nostalgic associations with past eras. The scent is incredible! I was lucky because none of the negative undertones come through on me. It's a gourmand fragrance on the edge, with a chocolate-heliotrope theme, hints of leather, and a barely noticeable tanginess. I can hardly detect any oud or wood. My husband described it as unique, and we have an extensive collection and are familiar with even more. I enjoyed two sample vials and ordered a full-size bottle.
A delightful fragrance. Very dark in perception, minor, there is something truly necrotic about it. Dark wood, damp, like soaked in water from a pond where intoxicating water flowers bloom. For some reason, the combination of heliotrope with oud and chocolate evokes such an association in me. After a while, a semi-tone of skin and sweet amber can be felt. This fragrance has a hypnotic nature. Only through testing, because in this case it is of great importance how it settles. Reviews vary greatly and can be diametrically opposite, from enthusiasm to disgust. It suits me, I like it, I can't stop sniffing the spot where it was applied.
