When it comes to ensuring a good top coat on hand, F.O.X Top Opal is literally a shining star. It makes nails look effortlessly stylish and chic. This is achieved largely due to tiny shimmering particles that provide a special play of light to the nails, especially when the sun hits them. This makes F.O.X Top Opal a great addition to the nail polish collection, as it does bring luxury even to the most casual look.

Shape and buff nails, then clean them thoroughly with a disinfectant and degreaser. If any creams or oils were used, they should be cleaned away in addition to dust particles. Remove the cuticle with a trimmer, scissors or a special cleanser. Apply a thin layer of base coat and cure under a UV lamp during the designated time. Remove the tacky dispersion layer with a lint-free cloth. Add a layer of colour and cure under a UV lamp. Remove the tacky dispersion layer and repeat the previous step, as needed. Apply and cure a top coat, ensuring a lasting seal. Clean off the tacky dispersion layer and file the nails to your desired shape. The processing time under a LED/UV lamp is 30 seconds - 2 minutes, respectively.
This top coat is luxurious and I have ordered it again. The shine, wearability, and smoothness are exceptional. It is thick, but it doesn't run and self-levels, although it is important to apply it in a thin layer and dry it well, which can take longer than usual (up to 2 minutes with a LED lamp). I use it not alone, but after a regular sticky top coat as a finishing touch, except for pedicures, where I use it alone to avoid thickening the coverage. At first, it took me a while to adjust because it would become cloudy or remain sticky, but once I started applying it after the base top coat, in a thin layer and drying it well, the true beauty of the sparkles and shimmer revealed itself.
I didn't like it. It's thick and sometimes becomes matte. I won't order it again. I have to cover it with another top coat.
The top doesn't just shine, it sparkles! My impression is somewhat mixed. I have no complaints about the quality, but the presence of sparkles does not give it a luxurious look. It looks tolerable on nude shades, but on dark ones, it looks cheap.
It has a beautiful shine and doesn't leak. However, after the second week, it started changing color, so I don't recommend using it for a French or light manicure. It may cause cracks (I haven't encountered this issue in a long time). Even though in the first case, the issue can be solved with a second layer of regular top coat, it didn't work for the cracks and they still appeared.
These small glitters are very beautiful, but I still cover them with a clear top coat because their surface is rough.
I have this top with a UV filter, and it doesn't turn yellow. It creates an opal effect with a subtle golden-orange shimmer, which looks very beautiful.
This product is really awesome, although it's a bit thick, it does a great job of evening out the skin tone. And those sparkles, oh my goodness, they are incredible)))
I was disappointed when I first opened the jar, as I thought it was just a simple top coat. However, as soon as I applied it to my nails, I was amazed and pleasantly surprised. This top coat is fantastic - it's thick, beautiful, doesn't run, and evens out nicely with just a light layer for a stunning effect. It looks really nice. In the photo, I only used a camouflaging base from f.o.x. and this top coat - nothing else. The manicure is delicate and very beautiful. I highly recommend it!
