I spent a long time choosing a solid perfume for myself. I bought this one without testing it first and hadn't used any other scents from this brand before. I chose it purely based on the description of the notes.
First of all, if you're expecting a loud and noticeable fragrance with a trail, this isn't it. There's no sillage at all; it stays close to the skin and you can only smell it by getting your nose right up to where it's applied.
In the scent, I can only detect amber and powder. I don't pick up any of the other advertised notes.
The fragrance isn't long-lasting, which is disappointing because I do enjoy smelling it. I keep it on my desk at work and apply it several times a day.
Previously, I used other solid perfumes for winter, and they actually felt like perfumes. I’m not sure what to call this one.
I won't be buying it again, but I'll finish using it.
