Kalan by Parfums de Marly is a niche fragrance created for men and women that envelops the sense of smell with an exquisite flair of rare ingredients. The perfume is filled with the chords of 21st-century aesthetics, vibrating from bright undertones of light and mysterious nuances of darkness. Its fragrance is an eternity that does not follow the whims of momentary fashion and remains relevant through the years. Sharp, burning, and passionate - enjoy the incredible "taste" of Eau de Parfum!
Olfactory pyramid by Parfums de Marly Kalan:Top notes open up a spicy "bouquet", alluring with the freshness of red Orange, the piquancy of Black Pepper, and an extraordinary mixture of oriental spices.
Heart notes excite with cool mountain Lavender with fragrant Orange blossom overtones.
Base notes beckon with refined Amber accents and the bittersweet aftertaste of Tonka beans, edged with the nobility of Wood and the creamy softness of Sandalwood.
This is Montale Sensual Instinct, but without the sweetness of Bakarov. There is no moss, smoke, or bitterness. It's more like everything was set on fire, then extinguished, resulting in this fragrance.
I am in love with this scent - strong, fiery, and smoky, warm, but I still enjoy it even in the summer. It doesn't feel heavy. It's complex and unlike anything else (although I'm not a perfume expert, so maybe it resembles something, but I haven't come across it before). And yet, it is very concise, consistent, and doesn't change much over time.
I was afraid it wouldn't be authentic since the price is three times lower than in the store. The checks I could make showed that it is indeed original.
The bottle is very heavy!) That's the only downside for me, as a traveler.
