I didn't really feel anything on my lips. It's hard to say if it's good or bad. It's just a light balm to use before lipstick or lip liner.
As for the other SOS balm, it's thicker, white, and slightly transparent. The scent is amazing. It's like pineapple, but light. I will use it at night as it moisturizes well. It's similar to Nivea.

I didn't like that the third ingredient is petroleum jelly and the scent is overpowering, even a bit chemical-like. Other than that, it's just a regular balm. I won't be repurchasing it.
