Unfortunately, this product did not work well for my combination skin (I bought it for use during my vacation). One positive aspect is that it didn't cause my face to burn, but after a week of regular use, I started experiencing small breakouts. Additionally, it would lighten my skin and leave a greasy film when applied. I won't be purchasing it again.
This SPF is really good. It doesn't bleach the face and it's not sticky. Compared to La Roche-Posay, it's much better. It also comes in a larger size and is cheaper.
I didn't buy it here, but when the new SPF Avène products weren't available in makeup stores yet.

Yes, it does leave a little white residue (but that's on my tanned skin). For people with fair skin, it may not even whiten. And it also leaves a film on the skin, doesn't absorb completely. But on sunny days, it was necessary for me to feel protected and remember to reapply.
