1) Wash your hands. Tear open the protective wrapper to take out the non-applicator tampon.
2) Pull the inner tube of the applicator out from the outer tube until you hear a click (refer to the diagram), extending the applicator to its full length.
3) Hold the outer tube of the applicator with your thumb and middle finger, and place the rounded end of the applicator at the entrance of your vagina.
4) Gently spread your labia with the fingers of your free hand. The vaginal opening is located between the urethral opening and the anal opening.
5) Carefully insert the upper part of the applicator into your vagina at an angle until your fingers touch your body.
6) Using your index finger, push the inner tube of the applicator into the outer tube. The tampon is now in the correct position, so you should not feel it.
7) Remove the applicator tubes. The tampon's string should remain outside. Ensure both applicator tubes are removed, then dispose of them (do not flush the applicator as it is plastic), and wash your hands.
8) Change the tampon regularly, every 4-8 hours.
9) For overnight use, insert a fresh tampon before going to bed and change it in the morning after waking up. Detailed instructions are provided in each tampon package.
