Interesting texture, like a transparent gel. It applies smoothly on the skin, initially creating a shiny effect. I wait for about 10 minutes for it to absorb and then apply foundation or powder.
I really like the protective effect, my face has never been sunburned.
As for the drawbacks for me, if I rub my face during the day, it tends to roll off. And there is a slight moist effect throughout the day. I use tissues.
