I actually liked the scent, it was like some kind of confectionery with cookies. However, yes, it is a bit watery and it requires more than usual to foam up.
The consistency is slightly liquid, but the gel texture is pleasant. The only drawback is the smell, which is overly sweet. However, the smell is a matter of personal preference.
