As the weather turns warm, many people like to switch up their fragrance choices to something more refreshing and lighter. Fresh and citrusy, Carner Barcelona Bo-Bo Eau de Parfum totally hits the spot. It evokes images of a cool breeze from the Mediterranean sea, a clear blue sky, the warmth of the sun – those simple things that can instantly uplift mood and create a wonderful aura of positivity. Better yet, the fragrance lets the wearer get immersed in the ancient culture of the Mediterranean region through Bo-Bo, one of its most beautiful and joyous folk dances.
The olfactory pyramid Carner Barcelona Bo-Bo:
Top notes open in a lively combination of refreshing bergamot and mandarin orange, with blackcurrant adding a slightly bitter aroma to balance the sweetness.
Heart notes are crafted around a brilliant multi-faceted floral bouquet that consists of African orange flower, lily-of-the-valley and Indian jasmine.
Base notes feature musk, vetiver and white amber, leaving a lavish trail behind.
I was looking for bergamot, orange, and blackcurrant, but I didn't find them... It's pure jasmine, which I'm not a big fan of. I thought it would be okay with some fresh notes. Although it's not a sweet jasmine, it still has a fresh scent, yet it's very intense.
Thanks to the makeup team for their excellent work! Today I bought Bi-Bo and tried it out immediately. It has a very vibrant start—fresh, citrusy, and juicy. The middle notes are quite pleasant and warm. However, the final notes were a letdown; they seem masculine, intrusive, and outdated. Despite this, the perfume is worth noticing, and I'll continue to wear it. It's a pity there are no samples available—please consider offering them. It’s challenging to choose a fragrance based solely on its description without trying samples first.
I tried several Carner samples and decided on Bo-Bo because I was looking for a light scent for the summer. I can detect citrus, jasmine, lily of the valley, musk, and a hint of amber in the dry-down. The blackcurrant note didn't come through on my skin, but that's actually a good thing. At first, the fragrance is a bit sharp, but then it unfolds with tenderness and uniqueness. My husband noticed it on me and said they're unlike anything else (and he knows his scents). I ordered the full 100 ml size.
You don't need to apply a lot because it can become overpowering and heavy. The packaging is exquisite, not flashy, with a beautiful signature inside the box that opens like a jewelry case. The bottle is also elegantly designed, square-shaped with a wooden cap. I'm thrilled! Thank you so much, beloved make up <3
