However, the gel hasn't caused any discomfort or allergies, and the scent doesn't bother me as it is just a regular pharmacy scent. It rinses off well.

For my problematic skin, it is perfect. I use it twice a week and there is a visible result. It is very economical to use and has a neutral scent.

For those with sensitive and irritated skin, even with minor wounds or blemishes, it would be better to choose something gentler and non-irritating from the CeraVe line of cleansers.
