I am familiar with this scent, as I can recognize it anywhere. However, what the courier brought me yesterday (a 20 ml sample) was completely different. The bottle and pouch were exactly as shown in the photo. But the scent itself cannot even be called that, it is more like an odor. As soon as you apply it, it smells strongly of sourness, and then it slightly dissipates and you can faintly smell the sourness. After two hours, it is practically not noticeable at all.
If you want to buy the genuine Montale fragrance, I do not recommend it as it will ruin your opinion of this scent.
I bought it as a gift, but I will not give something like this. It is a shame to have wasted money on something like this.

The scent is excellent. However, the longevity is only 1, which is the first time I have encountered such a short-lasting fragrance from Montale.

The scent is very interesting and multifaceted, but not at all long-lasting! I have Chocolate Greedy, and you can still smell it even on the next day, but here, the longevity is only a "1."
Wonderful fragrance. In winter, I purchased a small sample. It smelled of bold pepper, but gentle, not burning.
Now I have bought a 20ml bottle. Currently, it smells like oranges and only then transitions into a moderate spiciness.
In my opinion, this fragrance is suitable for all seasons. It warms in winter and does not suffocate in summer.

My favorite among all Montals! I have tried many of them, some of which I have bought again, but this one is magnificent! It may not appeal to fans of everyday scents, as it starts with black pepper and ends with lime! Among the ones I liked are Chocolate Creed, Mango Manga, and Soleil de Capri.
Here's an interesting fact! Some Intense Pepper bottles arrived without any label, while others had a label. Out of all the ones I ordered with a label, it only happened three times.
I came across this scent on a man and in my opinion, it is the perfect men's perfume. I fell in love with this fragrance! It has a long-lasting, delicious and rich aroma. It's simply amazing, especially for autumn and winter.
My dad didn't like it, he said it smelled like funeral incense (even though it's not listed in the notes). It developed differently on his skin, but for me, it's my favorite out of all the Montale fragrances, the most enveloping, delicate, and I just want to wrap myself in it and never leave. It's super long-lasting, super tender, and not as loud as, for example, Mukhalat, but definitely the best for me because it unfolded unrealistically gently and sensually. The woody-spicy trail is indescribable.
The fragrance is decent for Montale - nothing too extravagant or long-lasting. Definitely worth trying out! It's a weak 3, just barely making the cut.
At first, I wanted to compare it to my favorite Hermes Voyage - but it doesn't even come close to Hermes, not even a tiny bit!))) However, it is quite similar! Almost like a copycat! Just that Hermes opens up and becomes citrusy, deliciously spicy, while this one is just plain pepper from a pepper shaker.
Strange, the scent in the sample is luxurious, I fell in love and all my sweet fragrances on the shelf moved aside for it. But! In this bottle, it's similar, but somehow cheap, with an oily and unpleasant note.. I will of course give it a chance to prove itself, but still..
I have been waiting for this fragrance for so long, in any volume other than a sample. It's exactly what I love - long-lasting and with a nice trail. It feels more like a winter version. I checked the batch code and it seems fine. Now, let me tell you about my shock. So, it was packaged in a little bag, and that bag was inside a plastic package. I was shocked. Well, there didn't seem to be any smell coming from the package, nothing spilled. And when I sprayed it for the first time, there was just air at first and then the scent.
