Foundation "Matte Coverage" - L’Oreal Paris Infaillible 32H Matte Cover
My wife is thrilled. She says it's a really great foundation.
The foundation is flawless and worth the money. I have oily skin with large pores, and this foundation does an excellent job of blurring them. The matte finish lasts for a good half of the day without setting powder. If you set it with bamboo or rice powder, the matte look will last all day until late evening.
I picked up my package today and found a gift from Makeup at the bottom of the box—a full-size 11 ml nail strengthener. Thank you, Makeup, for such a pleasant surprise!
I've tried many foundations, including some of the most expensive ones on the market. Then I decided to try this one, and it turned out to be better than all the previous ones. There's no sticky residue, no clumping, and it doesn't clog pores. It's fantastic!
I was initially very satisfied when I bought and applied this product. It went on smoothly and matched my skin tone perfectly. However, when I wore it for the whole day, I was disappointed. The shade oxidized heavily (I attached a photo taken after 20 minutes) and emphasized my pores. I have very oily skin, but even glowy foundations look much better throughout the day. This one ended up patchy all over my face. I can't touch it up because it would only make it look worse. I have tried many foundations, but the foundation and concealer from this series are simply awful. I always make sure to moisturize my skin well before applying them.
The cream is good and long-lasting. It perfectly suits my pale combination skin, and shade 130 (which is actually lighter than shade 110) is an ideal match. It applies easily and stays on well, but I also use the base from the same series.
I rarely write reviews, but I wanted to share my impressions here.
- I have fair skin, so I bought shade 110, as it is the lightest among the options available. Maybe it would be a bit dark for me in winter, but that's if I'm being picky. Besides, I always use an additional light concealer (I have rosacea on my cheeks, which is difficult to hide with just one shade).
- However, the coverage of this foundation is just wow! And the texture feels velvety smooth. It even gave me the impression of applying the same concealer from Clarins: initially it feels like liquid velvet, but after it dries, it gives a uniform tone, like a second skin without a mask effect.
- It's a must! In order for the foundation to apply evenly and not emphasize any flakiness, you need to prepare your skin: get rid of any flakes (I use peels in the autumn) and moisturize well.
- I have combination skin with a tendency to get oily in the T-zone. So usually, I have to powder throughout the day. But not with this foundation! I simply applied it and forgot about 40 additional layers of concealer - a little extra correction was enough. And I didn't have to use powder again all day long.
- Overall, I'm very impressed. I've tried many foundations before this one and finally, at 28 years old, I found the one that suits me perfectly. Applied in the morning, it lasts all day without feeling heavy, without melting on my nose or getting oily. And it removes nicely.
- Super!
Definitely the best foundation. It has become my favorite now. Prior to this, I have used Max Factor, Maybelline, Vichy... I have combination/oily skin, so it was surprising to me that this foundation doesn't shine on my face after some time of application. It is long-lasting, doesn't give a "mask" effect, doesn't clog pores, and most importantly, it doesn't transfer onto my phone, clothes, etc. I highly recommend it.
Here is an edited review:
This foundation is truly a great find! It gives me the effect that I have always been looking for - long-lasting, good coverage for all the imperfections without the need for frequent touch-ups. It is perfect for my problematic and oily-prone skin as it is non-comedogenic, which was one of the main reasons why I decided to try it.
However, I encountered a problem with the shades. I purchased two shades: 110 and 130. On the website, 110 was advertised as the lightest shade, and the consultant in the store confirmed it. However, it has a cool undertone and appears even darker than the swatch of shade 130 on my hand. After application, it oxidizes and becomes even darker, making it unsuitable for my fair skin with a warm undertone.
Hoping that it would be less cool-toned and better suited for warm-toned skin, I ordered shade 130 on the website. I really liked the foundation and wanted to use it regularly. Mixing it with a lighter foundation doesn't make sense as it can alter the consistency and longevity of the product. Besides, it is quite thick, so blending it with other foundations would be difficult. Moreover, just a few drops are enough to create an even skin tone.
There used to be a lighter porcelain shade in the line that was perfect for very fair skin, but it is no longer available on the MakeUp website or in stores. I really hope that the manufacturer will soon listen to the customers' requests and bring back the light porcelain shade so that girls with fair skin can also find their perfect foundation.
I have been using makeup for many years and have purchased products worth thousands of hryvnias. Despite reading and hearing negative reviews, I did not pay attention to them, hoping that they were subjective. However, today I have confirmed that if this online store makes any obvious mistakes in their work, they do not acknowledge any fault and blame everyone except themselves. When I expressed my complaint about ordering a specific shade of foundation that was listed on their website and receiving a different one, their response was as follows: "The manufacturer changed the name and color under this number, and the informative photo about this change is displayed on the website (without any explanation!!!), so you should have intuitively guessed that it would be a different color!!!" So, if the website states that you are ordering a black color and a white one arrives, how could you intuitively understand that it would be different?! As evidence of my words, I am attaching a screenshot and a photo of what was sent to me. Of course, there was no acknowledgment of the mistake, apology, or compensation.
With swatches
From the positives, it does not settle as a mask and provides good coverage to hide imperfections. However, there are some negatives. It only lasts for about 6 hours before it starts to sink into pores. The T-zone starts to shine after just one hour, especially for someone like me with oily and problematic skin. Lastly, I have trouble finding the right shade, so I mix shade 90 and 110 and apply it with a damp sponge to ensure it applies evenly and doesn't streak.
Minus: The packaging with shade numbers has changed a couple of times during my use, which is confusing because you have to find a shade similar to the one you used before.
Plus: It applies smoothly and covers imperfections without giving a mask-like effect. The most important thing is to prep your face before applying (using scrubs, creams to eliminate flaky skin).
I apply it with my fingers because it dries quickly.
Thank you, Makeup.
The foundation used as a skin imperfection concealer is almost the best. However! Be prepared that it will not only conceal your face, but also your clothes, as it is applied excessively. There will be tiny pores in the foundation for sure! And you need to apply very little, otherwise it will truly become a mask on your face. Before applying, it is necessary to use a lotion to minimize the pores, if you have them.
For me, this product has a solid 4. The texture is consistent, and it lasts for about 6 hours, making it moderately long-lasting. It is easy to apply but needs to be applied quickly and blended because it tends to settle on the skin very quickly. At first, it feels like a mask, and it seems impossible to move for the first few minutes. This is why I deduct a star. Also, it is important to find a shade that matches your skin tone.
This is a very good cream. I have been using this series for over 5 years. Although the format often changes, the quality remains high.
I have oily and problematic skin. The cream mattifies and effectively covers imperfections and pores. It is very light and feels barely noticeable on the face.
The previous Infallible series was slightly denser, while this one is more liquid, so I am still getting used to it. It does not dry out the skin, but instead makes it more velvety.
I apply it over moisturizer, and it spreads evenly with a small amount. A pea-sized drop is enough for the entire face.
Good cream. It doesn't dry out the skin and effectively conceals imperfections.
For me, this is the coolest foundation. I apply it on top of the silicone base from the same brand.
I have been using this foundation for 3 years, and I always wondered why I had clogged pores. Well, it is because of this foundation. It is very thick, which can be a plus because it covers everything, but it is also a minus because it clogs pores and emphasizes every expression line. I do not recommend it.
I have been using this brand's foundation for over two years. It does a great job of mattifying the skin. However, there is a major downside to this product - it not only stays on your face, but also transfers onto your clothes and the cheeks of anyone you hug.
Considering how difficult it is for me to find the right shade, this cream was a great purchase for me. Usually, most creams that claim to be for "fair-skinned" people end up being anything but light. And most of the ones that did match my skin tone either emphasized the skin's imperfections or started to shine like I had applied heavy cream instead of foundation after just an hour. Shade 90 - Rose Porcelain has a neutral undertone, without any obvious yellow or pink undertones. I believe this is currently the best foundation I have ever tried.
The product has a pleasant and lightweight texture, providing a high level of coverage. Over time, it becomes matte without any yellow or pink undertones, unlike shade 110 which is noticeable.
I really like the long-lasting foundation.
This is a decent option that provides good coverage and hides imperfections, but L'Oréal has even better foundations.
This foundation is really cool! The shade 110 is perfect for fair skin! Before applying the foundation, I use an moisturizing fluid from L'Oréal as well. It effectively covers minor imperfections, mattifies the skin, and stays put during everyday activities. The delivery was fast, arrived in just 6 days. I will definitely order more!
Awesome!!!
(Note: Since the original text is very short and does not provide any context or specific information, it is not possible to provide a more detailed translation.)
The porcelain tone of this product is quite good and suits me well. Of course, in order to easily apply it and have a luxurious look on the face, I recommend performing various cleansing, exfoliating, and other procedures. This will prevent writing negative reviews afterwards. It is a good product!
This cream is amazing! It covers everything flawlessly, without drying out my skin, and it applies beautifully. I really love it and I buy it regularly.
Awful. Dries out. It clumps even on moisturizing cream.
A good tip is to apply a transparent base to prevent it from sinking into the pores. The base that comes with this foundation works well and applies smoothly. I only apply the base on my T-zone. A plus point is that it doesn't contain alcohol. However, a downside is that it blends poorly with my favorite contour on top of the foundation.
I didn't like the foundation. When applied, it made my skin flake and clumped up on my face (even though I moisturize my skin before applying the cream). Also, the color didn't match; it was very light, shade 130.
Shade 90 will be perfect for the fairest of Snow Whites. I always go for the lightest shade, but this one turned out to be too light, almost white on my skin. However, if you blend it well and do some contouring, it looks decent. It truly mattifies (I have oily skin, and usually it shines almost immediately, but with this shade, the skin stays matte for a few hours, then you can use powder to mask the oiliness).
I deducted one star for the following reason: even with the best skin preparation (toner, serum, moisturizer, and SPF), the shade settles into all the wrinkles, as if it's rolling into them. It's very visible on the face, emphasizing all the pores, etc. But considering its coverage and mattifying properties, these drawbacks can be forgiven.
However, if you are looking for something lighter, this product is not suitable for you.
I'm honestly thrilled! The shade 110, rosy vanilla, matches my fair skin perfectly. The coverage is even, without a mask-like effect, and it stays matte for a long time. It's best to moisturize before and after using it. So far, this is the best product I've ever tried!
I ordered this foundation for the first time and I am amazed. It works perfectly with my combination skin. It provides great coverage and lasts until the end of the day. I will definitely order it again!
This is a good foundation. You don't need to powder your face with it, as it mattifies well. I also like that there are shades available for fair-skinned individuals. The only drawback is that it can highlight any imperfections you may have. Therefore, this foundation is not suitable for combination or dry skin.
I recommend this foundation for those who prefer a matte finish, as it provides excellent coverage without the need for powder. The shades are good, although it can be a bit difficult to apply evenly and may appear patchy. However, with the use of powder, bronzer, and blush, it can be well blended. It does not oxidize, similar to the "maybe super stay" analog. By the way, I got the shade 90, which is more of a neutral undertone for fair-skinned individuals, rather than having a pinkish tint.
I have been purchasing L'Oréal Paris Infallible 24H Matte for the third time now. It applies wonderfully on my skin and I don't need to touch up my makeup throughout the day. The most important thing is that it evens out my complexion with just a thin layer. Thank you for the fast and high-quality delivery.
I would like to leave a review because this is the best foundation I have ever used. My skin is sensitive and prone to breakouts, and it tends to get red with any change in temperature. This foundation applies smoothly and thinly, without giving the feeling or appearance of a mask on the face. The shade is perfect and it doesn't feel tight on the skin. I always use a toner and moisturizer before applying it. It's amazing. The color "pink vanilla" is barely noticeable on my skin. A little goes a long way.
I didn't buy it here, but I decided to leave a review in case it's helpful for someone. Ladies, this foundation is simply amazing. If you have problematic skin, definitely get it, you won't regret it. I've been looking for a foundation with high coverage that still looks beautiful, and I found it. I didn't even need a concealer, even though I couldn't go anywhere without it before. This foundation covers everything, I'm ecstatic about it. I wore it for a full day and yes, it does maintain its matte finish better than other foundations.
P.S.: For a quality result, don't forget toner, moisturizer, primer, and top it off with powder to set it all. Then it will all look beautiful.
Snow Whites, shade 110 is the one. At first, it seemed a bit too dark, but within 10 minutes, it adjusted perfectly to my skin tone. Recommendation, in short. I've said it all :))))
I have previously used shade 09 (elephant bone) and this time I got shade 115 (golden beige) from the new range. One thing that immediately catches your eye is the texture. In shade 09, it is velvety, dense, and matte. The texture of shade 115 from the new range is watery and very light, it appears glossy after application, but it takes time to set on the face. It has a pleasant scent.
I ordered shade 25 from the EU, and this foundation is truly a lifesaver, especially during the summer. It is more suitable for people with combination or oily skin. I apply it with a damp sponge, and it doesn't clog my pores. Unfortunately, I can't find shade 25 anywhere here, but shade 130 is too yellow for me.
This shade is clearly not for everyday life. It is extremely thick, dries quickly, and is terribly difficult to apply.
I have been using this product for several years now, and it does a great job of mattifying my skin. It is especially indispensable during the summer, particularly for those with oily or combination skin. I highly recommend it to everyone.
Works well
I have never left reviews before, but this foundation horrified me! After weeks of using it, my skin became completely covered in blackheads and the pores became unbearable. I have never seen anything like this, even my cheeks were covered in blackheads! It's a terrible foundation. Additionally, it also rolls off and emphasizes any facial creases heavily. I apply it on a base and with a damp sponge. Ladies, do not buy it for any reason! Save your skin and nerves.
Dear Makeup,
Please provide a wider range of foundation shades as the current selection is quite limited. Half of the shades resemble a pale, piggy-pink color. It would be great if you could include some neutral shades. For example, shade 101.5 could be a classic ivory, 101.5 could be a natural elephant ivory, 102 could be a sunny beige, and shades 103 and 104 could be golden beige.
It is perfect, what a pity I didn't buy it earlier. When applied, the skin becomes like porcelain, the matte finish looks very beautiful. I have oily skin and usually after just 2 hours, it becomes greasy, but with this foundation, the skin stays matte for 4-5 hours! The key is to moisturize well and it will be wonderful. Shade 110 is a perfect match and doesn't oxidize at all.
The foundation has become my all-time favorite. It skillfully conceals all imperfections, without leaving a heavy feeling on the face and keeps it matte throughout the day. It doesn't smudge.
The foundation is good and has a thick consistency, but it is better to apply a moisturizing base before using it because it tends to dry out the skin. The only issue I had was with the shade selection. I chose shade 135 instead of 130, which would have been a better match for my fair complexion.
I had a similar foundation back in 2018, it covered my imperfections quite well and mattified my oily T-zone nicely. I initially bought shade 11, but after the relaunch, the palette changed and I ended up getting shade 110. In terms of color, there are no issues, they are identical. However, the texture is strange. It tends to clump up during application, giving the impression that the foundation has expired. I ordered it from the EU at a ridiculously low price of 178 UAH. Most likely, it was a defective batch.
I used to use the old version of this foundation. This version of the cream is more mattifying. The cream provides great coverage for all imperfections, it is dense but doesn't look like a mask on the face. The key is to apply it correctly and prepare the skin beforehand. Good moisturization and a base are necessary. It's a good option for oily or combination skin, but definitely not suitable for dry skin. I apply it with a damp sponge and in a small amount, then it's perfect. I liked it.
This product settles deeply into the pores. Even when using a moisturizing cream and makeup primer, the skin becomes dry, flaky, and has visible cream dots in the pores.
This product is terrible. The previous version was much better, as it emphasized peeling and clogged pores. The color range is awful, with all shades either too light or yellow-orange. There are no advantages whatsoever, even though I absolutely loved the previous series. It's such a shame that they discontinue good products and replace them with something like this. And if you still decide to apply it on your face, make sure to wash it off 3-4 times, otherwise this "plasticine" won't come off your pores.
Great quality for the price. It's easy to achieve a lightweight transparent coverage that still evens out the skin tone significantly. It dries quickly and becomes matte, resembling powder. There is no mask-like effect.
I am very satisfied with the rose vanilla shade - it doesn't oxidize on my neutral combination white skin. However, it is not ideal for the eye area, as it cannot replace concealer.
I have been using the same series primer. The result is not amazing.
Pros:
It lasts long.
It doesn't feel heavy on the skin.
Cons:
It doesn't really mattify well.
It doesn't hide imperfections and strong pigmentation spots.
I didn't like it! In every aspect.
The foundation matched my skin tone perfectly. I bought it for spring and summer to hide excess shine (my skin is normal in winter, but becomes combination in summer). I apply it without a primer, just over my daytime moisturizer. It goes on smoothly and effectively hides imperfections, even though it has a light texture. It also mattifies well and, most importantly, doesn't dry out my skin.
I used to buy shade 12, which was a natural pink color. This time, I opted for shade 110, which is called vanilla pink, but the colors don't match at all. Shade 130 is extremely light. Not only did the price increase, but the quantity also reduced.
I didn't buy this foundation here, but I still want to leave a review. For several years, my favorite foundation has been Maybelline New York Super Stay 24H. However, since the store didn't have my shades, I decided to try a more expensive one (way more expensive!). But it's not worth it: it clogs pores and starts to slide off within an hour, even when applied on a primer.
I ordered this foundation and I am satisfied with it. I chose the shade "pink vanilla" and it matches well, perfect for the summer. The foundation has a truly matte finish and it behaves normally throughout the day, no shine on the face. It might emphasize dry patches in some areas, but that's a characteristic of your skin. It's advisable to moisturize your face before applying the foundation. It hides flaws well and adjusts to your skin tone. The delivery took over a week, but it was probably due to the quarantine.
