Apply the light shade to the upper eyelid and blend upwards towards the brow line. Then use the darkest shade on the lower eyelid and blend it out. Apply the dark shade to the upper lash line and the inner corners of the eyes. Blend a little bit. Use darker shade on the moveable part of the lid, blending well to avoid any harsh edges.
The colors apply beautifully even without a base. However, if you apply too much on the brush, some shimmery particles may fall under the eyes.

I didn't have time to open the box with the palette when my boyfriend grabbed it to examine it, and the design impressed everyone. The beauty is incredible.
As for the pigmentation, the impression is mixed. The matte shades are super pigmented, but the glitters are not as much (at least that's the impression from the first two tests).

The edge of the mirror has a slight ribbed texture that catches the eye in the sunlight, but it's not a defect. The mirror itself is of very high quality, without any distortions. This palette is a good value for money with a very cute design. There are only 3 matte shades in the palette, while the rest are satin and shimmery. They transfer very vibrantly when applied with fingers. Overall, the palette is very delicate and one should not expect super bright colors, although it is possible to get maximum color payoff. I bought it specifically for the lavender shade, which is absolutely beautiful. I also want to try other palettes from this chocolate series. This is my first one, so I have nothing to compare it to. But overall, I liked it.
