Lip Liner - L'Oreal Paris Infallible Lip Liner
This pencil is awesome! It has a matte finish and holds the contour really well. We drank, sang karaoke, danced all evening, and it held up nicely without smudging. It is quite pigmented and bright, so it's best to apply a good first layer to avoid clumping when applying a second or third layer. I have the shade 711 Invisible Red, which is a nice warm red with a hint of brick. My sister got the shade 105 Red Fiction Liner, and if you compare them side by side, there is a tiny difference in shade, with 105 being slightly cooler. I recommend it to everyone who needs a classic, reliable red lip pencil.
I also bought this amazing pencil on sale in a retail store (naively assuming that it was mechanical). After the first use, it already became dull, I haven't tried sharpening it yet, but I think it will be quite a hassle. In general, I believe that sharpening pencils is a thing of the past! I wouldn't trade my beloved mechanical Mary Kay pencil for anything, as it is much better in terms of quality!
It doesn't sharpen well! I inserted it into the sharpener, and the lead breaks right away because it's very soft. The material is plastic, how can you even sharpen it?! Consider this price only for the tip. This pencil is disposable, I won't buy it again.
The color is vibrant, and it has good staying power. However, for some reason, it tends to clump excessively, leaving lint on the lips. I have to remove it from both my lips and the pencil.
I bought this pencil hoping for long-lasting wear, but unfortunately, it is not at all durable. Even after just drinking coffee, the color faded completely and I had to start over. The shade I chose was supposed to be "Hollywood Beige" (201), but it is not beige at all. Instead, it is a bright, pink color.
I am extremely disappointed with this product. I will go back to using Artdeco instead.
Super long-lasting! I made a stroke on my hand in the store, came home - and it's still there. I tried to wipe it off with a dry tissue - only halfway wiped off)))
However, personally, it dries out my lips. Since I love using pencils as lipstick, coloring my lips completely - this one doesn't work very well because I have to apply gloss on top, as it tightens so much that my lips look old :(
