Lancome Idole Eau de Parfum

Complete disappointment. I've bought IDOLE by Lancome several times before, but this recent purchase has left me baffled. There's no fragrance, no lingering scent; it doesn't develop at all. Typically, an original perfume has a complex fragrance profile that unfolds gradually and has a strong, lasting presence. What I have now is a single-note scent that fades in less than an hour.

Looking at the bottle, there are many changes: the Lancome logo is on the front of the cap instead of on the surface, and the cap is larger than those of my previous bottles (with both the 100 ml and 75 ml having the same size cap and spray nozzle). I also don't understand why the perfume isn't sealed and instead has a removable spray nozzle. The boxes are different from before, and the liquid itself is a darker color.

The batch code is present. This isn't my first IDOLE, so I have a basis for comparison. I was really looking forward to my favorite scent. Don't try to convince me that the manufacturer has the right to change the bottle and packaging, but the fragrance composition should not change entirely!

I consider this product to be of poor quality. MAKEUP, please provide an explanation, a quality certificate for the perfume, and ensure that the IDOLE LANCOME perfume water is of reliable quality, or issue a refund.

They didn't publish my previous negative review. This is not the original product! I later noticed that the packaging wasn't sealed properly and there was no square stamp on the cellophane. The label said "M. Kyiv, L'Oreal Ukraine." This is far from being made in France.

Overall, the perfume is not bad, it's basic and for its price it's okay. However, after some time of wearing it, it opens up completely differently than at the beginning. After a few hours, for some reason, it smells like an empress to me, but that's a matter of personal preference. It smells like some kind of cosmetic store, default :)

I bought it on this website 3 years ago. The scent was immediately noticeable upon opening the bottle. Just one spray was enough to last until the next day and even longer. I bought it again now, and I'm completely disappointed. The smell is almost nonexistent, very weak. I sprayed it 3 times and it was still unclear. The packaging is also different, it used to be without raised circular letters. The makeup matches this, as the manufacturer has the right to change the formula and everything else, they only work with originals. But it doesn't matter to me. It's not worth the money, I won't order from this website anymore.

Do not expect any transformations from this perfume: it will smell more or less the same from the moment you apply it until it fades away. It is the scent of a pink rose, not a velvety raspberry. I can feel it on myself all day long, and it even lingers on my hair the next day. I bought a 25 ml bottle and almost finished it during the spring and winter, considering that I have around 15 different fragrances - that's quick. I also purchased the "nectar" version, which is sweeter and more alluring, but I still prefer the original.

Becoming my mother's favorite fragrance, it is delicate and floral, but not overly sweet like other scents from Lancome. It has good longevity. For me, this scent represents spring or September-October, when the heat is gone but it's not too cold yet. I have worn it in different seasons, but it truly shines in autumn and spring.

Scent is a matter of personal preference, so I won't comment on that. It needs to be tested to determine if it suits your taste. As for longevity, I would rate it 2 out of 5. It is noticeable for the first 10 minutes, but then becomes very faint. I sprayed it 4 times. If we consider it as a perfume, the performance is quite weak.

P.S. The water was stored in darkness for 2 months after delivery.

I didn't like the scent, it has a cheap floral aroma and you can't even detect the rose. The smell is too harsh, definitely not worth the money. (((

The initial notes are similar, but all the words written in small font simply merge together. Secondly, the tube does not reach the bottom of the bottle. In counterfeits, the tube never reaches the bottom, which is why it becomes impossible to use the perfume when there is very little left. It is very disappointing! Personally, I will no longer order through Maykap. Especially since the same story applies to another perfume, Lancome Miracle!

Where is my portion of musk, patchouli, where are the notes of cedar? It's not typical for a Lancome fragrance. I can't say I'm very disappointed because Idole can be worn, it's pleasant, delicate, but quite boring and simple for my nose, I don't like monotony. It's very similar to "Delicate Rose" by Trussardi for me. If you already have something like that, then Idole won't make a special impression. Longevity is 2-3 hours, you need to reapply throughout the day. I think it's suitable for any season.

I purchased this perfume here about 1.5 years ago in a 25ml size, and this autumn I bought a set (75ml+10ml). So, I used it during the summer because for me, it has a light, sweet, and very pleasant scent. Plus, I was saving it since I only had 25ml. However, after buying the set, I stopped saving it and started using it now, in winter (if this year's winter can be called winter), at temperatures ranging from -5 to +8. I thought that nobody would notice this scent on me. And oh, how wrong I was... I have never received so many compliments on a scent before, even girls in the store approached me and asked for the name of my perfume. That's how it was. So, I have come to the conclusion that I will continue to use it not only in the summer.

How many times have I promised myself not to blindly buy perfume and yet still bought it... Maybe the scent is good, but I can hardly smell it on myself. After 2-3 hours, people around me can't smell it either. I spray it 5 times. Although they say there should be a trail... It's somewhat similar, maybe to Estee Lauder Modern Muse Le Rouge, but that one lasts much longer. Why pay more?
