I spent a long time choosing a brush for styling my bangs with a hairdryer, one that was ceramic and not too expensive. I decided that a 43mm diameter would be best for my bangs (without bristles), although I read online that it should be smaller. I bought this one.
The bristles are different from regular ones because, in addition to straight bristles, there are wavy ones that, according to the description on Makeup, help grip the hair. The brush easily rotates through my short hair.
The bristles are not sharp against the head, but if I accidentally touch my sensitive facial skin, it is unpleasant. I think they are of medium stiffness.
After styling, with the help of a volumizing spray, my hair does not become static.
The only disappointment was that I had a ceramic curling iron before, and it was white (as if painted white on top). But this brush is metallic in color, so it is no different from my previous cheap metal one. Does anyone know if this is a normal color for ceramic?
I was hoping to read everything on the label (like usual, "materials: ..."), but it turned out that all the information is just the inscription on the handle, "Ceramic...", and a couple of the same words on a small label (see photo). So, I'm not sure if it's just the name or if the base is actually ceramic. Or maybe they just write it briefly on all brushes now?
About the styling: I expected more, based on reviews of ceramic brushes. I didn't notice anything amazing. Even with a plastic brush (34mm), the styling held longer at the roots. Those with expertise in this area, please advise, maybe I just chose too large a diameter for my bangs (I shouldn't have listened to the blogger who said you'll look like a little lamb with a small one))).
Makeup is a 5-star service.
