Perhaps, if it weren't for its terrible smell, this product could have received a higher rating as a scrub. The manufacturer seems to have overlooked the fact that lips are right under the nose! The minty gum smell is unbearably strong, especially in the first few seconds of application. It's like chewing an entire pack of Orbit at once.
I always try to avoid using this product specifically because of its disgustingly sweet minty smell and taste. I only use it in extreme cases.
As a scrub, it would be good if it had a neutral scent.
