Elizabeth Arden White Tea Vanilla Orchid - Eau de Toilette
Wonderful, with notes of vanilla and floral white!
Delightful scent. I got it for the fall, and I love it. It's bright and sparkling, enveloping, and my husband liked it too :)
I bought the 30 ml bottle and then decided to get the 100 ml one. I’m letting it sit for a while because the 30 ml bottle surprised me with a scent that was different from what reviews described. Initially, it smelled like pure salt over white tea—no floral notes or vanilla, and it stayed that way for about a year. It was probably too fresh and hadn't matured yet.
After a year, it developed into a soft, warm aroma reminiscent of body balm, with a subtle white tea base and a hint of vanilla. It's versatile and slightly powdery. Regular white tea fragrances are usually sharper and cooler, with a squeaky-clean feel.
Here is a fluent translation of the product review:
"I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful this fragrance is, especially since I didn't expect much from this brand! Even its longevity impressed me."
The orchid scent is very pronounced, while the vanilla is not noticeable at all. If you love floral fragrances, this is the perfect choice.
I purchased this fragrance from another website. To me, it's overwhelmingly heavy and somewhat cloying. Although I generally enjoy sweet scents, this one is not to my taste at all. It feels straightforward and uninteresting, with a very unpleasant note that I can't quite identify. It is definitely not suitable for warm weather, as it would be stifling. I thought it might be better in winter, but unfortunately, that's not the case. I'm disappointed that I couldn't make it work.
The fragrance is intriguing and has a pleasant, interesting scent. Its longevity is moderate, leaning towards the longer-lasting side, which is expected since it’s an eau de toilette. I think it might be a bit overwhelming in the summer and spring because it's not a light fragrance—it’s more suited for the cooler autumn months. I chose it based on its description and it met my expectations. I purchased the 30 ml bottle, which fits comfortably in the hand and is easy to carry around. I can clearly detect the notes of vanilla, tea, and orchid as promised. The purchase did not disappoint me, and I’ll continue using it, although I probably won't buy it again. The base is simple and doesn’t smell expensive.
I used to love the classic white tea! This time, I debated whether to order it again or try the orchid-flavored one, and I went with the orchid. I really regret that decision! I just can't get into the scent; it's too floral for my taste. Classic is classic for a reason, and this one gives me a headache.
I received the 50 ml fragrance today, but I should have ordered the 100 ml. I love heavy, sweet, powdery, vanilla scents like Tom Ford's Soleil Orchid and Dior Addict, but those aren't quite suitable for summer. So, I was looking for a perfume that included both vanilla and floral notes. This one fits the bill perfectly. It has a blend of vanilla and jasmine tea, with a sexy iris note at the end that adds a powdery touch. It's just what I need for summer. The scent is dynamic and changes over time. I'm very satisfied! Thank you, Malva, for the sample gift.
I was disappointed to find that the perfume was made in Spain, even though it was advertised as being from the USA. The scent is different and not long-lasting at all.
The fragrance reminds me a lot of Hermès Kelly Calèche. Maybe it's because I don't like Kelly, so I immediately notice similar notes. However, White Tea is softer and more pleasant for me. Still, it's not my scent, and I wouldn't purchase it again.
I love the store, but it's been a long time since I've received any gifts. I've read many times that they are selected automatically, but it's been a while since I've received anything, even though I place orders quite frequently. Just last week, I made two purchases but still received nothing.
I was very impressed with this new fragrance, although the size is a bit small and the price is quite high. Still, I decided to get it.
I bought this as a gift, and I liked it. I hope the birthday girl will like it too. To me, it has a powdery scent... I'm satisfied with my purchase.
The fragrance is pleasant, delicate, and slightly creamy. It's not overwhelmingly sweet, as one might assume from the description of its scent notes. It somewhat reminds me of White Tea cologne, but only slightly and distantly. There aren't any distinct individual notes, which is good; it's compact and very subtle. You can faintly detect a hint of orchid, similar to the one found in Mancera's Oud Orchid, but it's so subtle and transparent that it's hard to pinpoint. Compared to its "older brother," White Tea, this perfume is less interesting and quieter. Its longevity is not very high, lasting around 3-4 hours at best, unlike White Tea, which is more pronounced and has better staying power. This fragrance is suitable for summer and office settings, making it a good gift for those who prefer subtle scents.
