Oh my goodness! So beautiful! Unparalleled! For those who love chypres. In my opinion, it is specifically chypre, not aldehydic. It feels a bit harsh on me...a cold green chypre. The first notes are floral and mossy...it quiets down quite quickly and after an hour on my hot skin in a rather warm day, it somehow gives off a leather note...such a beautiful, expensive leather with a hint of bitterness...I also detect some moss, a touch of vetiver, and hyacinth barely makes an appearance...nothing else was added to it)))) but I really like it. I suspect that once the fragrance settles after delivery, it will unfold differently. We shall wait!!! But I don't think there will be any unpleasant surprises)))). And most importantly...it definitely needs to be tested, it won't work for everyone! Retro is definitely present here. Noble - yes, expensive - definitely, but still retro!
