Salvatore Ferragamo fragrances are an ode to a woman – gentle, sensual and vulnerable, but so energetic, resolute and self-aware at the same time. By creating Amo Ferragamo Flowerful Eau de Toilette, the brand's perfumers have cleverly combined seemingly contradictory notes, making the fragrance truly feminine and charming in the end.
The olfactory pyramid of Salvatore Ferragamo Amo Ferragamo Flowerful:
Top notes reveal sensual accords of Japanese lemongrass Yuzu complemented by blackcurrant accents and warm Campari overflows.
Heart notes merge cool shades of jasmine and subtle peony with a hint of a sweet plum.
Base notes mark an entrancing blend of sensual musk and refined vanilla orchid.
This fragrance offers a floral scent that is light and slightly powdery. It has a long-lasting effect, lasting up to 5 hours.
The fragrance is average. Initially, there is campari...more campari and campari...for about 5 minutes. Then jasmine and a little peony. Plum seems to have escaped or maybe they didn't include it here at all, as it is not mentioned in the pyramid on other websites. Then orchid. The woody notes also disappeared from here. I couldn't detect any musk on my nose.
The overall impression is as follows (for those who are not perfume enthusiasts). It smells like something I don't know, but it's pleasant. For me, it doesn't smell particularly special. When I want to apply something, I can't decide what exactly.
It is unobtrusive, sweet, and not overwhelming. This fragrance is not loud or heavily lingering. In rainy weather, it stays close to the skin. In warm weather, it is too sweet. Its time is autumn-winter.
Overall, this is a regular selective fragrance without any distinguishing features.
This perfume has a very delicate scent, with a hint of sweet vanilla. I'm not a fan of overly sweet fragrances, but this one is just right for me. I would definitely consider it more suitable for autumn or winter, as it might be a bit heavy for summer. However, some people do wear Black Opium even in hot weather, but to each their own. I personally prefer delicacy, which is why I chose this fragrance for winter. It's like a fluffy bunny tail trailing behind me.
