The hair dye is terrible. It didn't cover any of my gray hair at all. I wasted my money. I used to use igora from a different line, and with each use, it got worse and didn't stay on my hair well. I need to switch to a different brand of hair dye.
I purchased shade 5-113 and added blue mixton to it (I have a warm reddish shade in my hair). The goal was to achieve a cool dark blonde. The dye did the job and I am thrilled with the result. However, the happiness was short-lived as the dye faded after the fourth wash on my gray hairs. But the overall shade remained, and for that, I am grateful. Despite the poor staying power on the gray hair (which is expected since there is no pigment in gray hair for the permanent dye to work with), I still plan on buying this dye because it leaves my hair soft and shiny. Plus, it has a pleasant scent, despite the obvious ammonia developer. Overall, I am satisfied. I hope they haven't discontinued it.
