It doesn't mattify, but the eyeshadows appear brighter and stay in place longer. In general, it's a mixed bag, and I probably won't purchase it again. I'll be looking for better options.
The quality of this product is average. It tends to roll off easily. The texture has shimmer, which is unclear why it is added. I will not buy it again.

I apply it using my fingers, after warming it up and spreading it evenly. One purchase lasts me approximately a year.

The purple version of this base is much better. This one, on the other hand, is so dry and forms clumps that are hard to apply.
The base has a creamy texture and spreads well on the eyelid. It appears colorless with a slight shimmer on the eyelid. It does not lighten the eyelid. The color of the eyeshadows looks much more vibrant on the base. The eyeshadows last for a long time. However, there is one significant drawback: it accentuates the texture of the eyelid. My slightly droopy eyelid with wrinkles looks very wrinkled with these eyeshadows on this base. I only apply it under the brow and for winged eyeliner. I use this base as a highlighter. It looks great.
