I don't know who doesn't feel absinthe, but it hits me straight in the nose, I can clearly sense it. And I can also hear the coffee well.
I didn't buy it here, but I'll leave a review. I had this perfume two or three years ago. I was collecting Opium - from the 90s releases, all the way to the infamous Black Opium. In my opinion, this one is the most unclear and weakest in the line. Among others, I liked the Nuit Blanche version more. In this version, longevity is completely absent, and even the fact that it's called Intense is just a name, not a scent. And don't fall for the advertised note of absinthe - it's nothing more than a marketing trick. The coffee note is also quite moderate. I exchanged my bottle without any regret, and for those who are reading this, I don't recommend blindly buying it. It's better to go for the classic version of Black Opium.
The perfume is excellent. It arrived neatly sealed, without any dents or scratches. Everything was done very carefully and securely. As a bonus, they gave two beautiful samples. Thank you, I liked everything ❤️

I bought it without testing it first. I just wanted something coffee-like, relatively sweet, and wintery. When it arrived, the initial scent seemed sharp and suffocating, too intense. I sprayed it on the cap and left the perfume alone for a few days. And it opened up. Gorgeous winter perfume. The scent pyramid is noticeable, the sillage is pleasant and not suffocating. It lingers on clothes and hair for quite a while. Now they are part of my collection of winter perfumes =)

I received a miniature version. I usually can't stand licorice in perfumes, but here it is so delicious and not overpowering, simply delightful! The scent somehow reminds me a bit of Coca-Cola, which adds to the mood! I am considering purchasing a full-size bottle because it's hard to find pleasant licorice like this.

The scent is long-lasting, in my opinion. It lasts for 6-8 hours on the skin and over a day on hair and clothing. I can detect all the notes that were advertised. I definitely want a larger volume!
I initially wanted a classic style, but I received these instead. At first, I was disappointed as they seemed too sweet and not long-lasting. However, after wearing them for a week (including during a cool evening), I fell in love with them. They are definitely perfect for cold autumn-winter seasons. It's very convenient to carry such a small pencil in a purse. The only disappointment is that the prices fluctuate and a difference of 100 UAH compared to 2500-3000 is not very noticeable, but I could have used that money to buy a spray bottle for refilling from a larger bottle or something else.
The perfume is great, I really liked it. However, I bought a 50ml bottle for 2374 UAH, and the next day, a 90ml bottle was priced at 1980 UAH! Why is that?
I personally find YSL's policy to be the closest to my taste. Of course, it's not summer. But all the other seasons - yes. It's very good. Even my teenage son is thrilled. The alcohol is noticeable at first, but then it fades away. The coffee is subtly present, with more of a vanilla scent. I liked the scent, but I can definitely say that it's very much an acquired taste. At first, it has a strong, overpoweringly sweet smell, but it quickly fades away, leaving a somewhat neutral jasmine scent on the skin. Perhaps it seems neutral to me because of the initial strong notes. However, over time, the smell of vanilla becomes clearly noticeable. In terms of longevity, it's average, in my opinion.
I'm confused about the packaging. If you smell the packaging itself, it has a very strong odor, like some kind of technical oil, maybe. It's the first time I've encountered something like this. I haven't thrown away the box. I just opened it now, smelled it, and yes, it's still there. Strange.

It has a very subtle scent, I would say that it can be worn during the day without any issues. At first, it reminded me of Lancome Tresor Musk (white crystal) and a little bit of Avon Eve Confidence. I have both of those perfumes, so I applied them to my wrists and compared them. That's why I came to this conclusion... Well, they are identical, that's all. It's not as strong as Opium, so don't expect that. But that's only at the beginning. Then it transitions into a coffee and alcohol scent. It's a pretty nice fragrance, but I was hoping for something more daring, it's actually quite light. I was expecting more, but it will do. Thank you! The delivery was in 2 days!
The Intense version is brighter, fresher, and has a stronger trail than the regular Black Opium. I was hoping to smell more coffee, but it's about the same as in the regular version. However, in the regular version, the coffee scent is not as distracted by other notes. ))) Here, besides coffee, the alcohol is also noticeable.
