Strengthening Long Hair Shampoo Kerastase Resistance Bain Extentioniste

I have been testing this brand's care products for almost a year - shampoos, conditioners, and masks - both as a set and individually. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any noticeable results on my hair compared to regular mass-market products. This brand is highly advertised, but it's not worth spending such a crazy amount of money on it. However, I did like their classic oil.

I really liked this shampoo. It lathers well on the second try. The scent is pleasant and leaves my hair soft and beautiful without weighing it down.

Girls, I highly recommend this technique! First, thoroughly wash your hair and roots with other shampoos that remove all the dirt and make your hair squeaky clean during washing! Then, use this one, but try not to wash the roots with it, only the length. This way, you'll achieve a great effect and your hair won't get greasy throughout the day! I tried this technique to test it out, and it worked for me!

It might not have suited me, as my hair looks good after using it, but it tends to get oily faster. It foams well, but it's not very economical.

The shampoo didn't work for me. I have long, uncolored hair and a normal scalp, but with this shampoo, my roots became greasy faster, while the ends of my hair became even more dry. I wash my hair every other day, and on the day after washing, my roots are already stuck to my head, like a little cow licked them. Although overall, I have tried many products from this brand and they were all okay. My favorite product is the Kerastase pink Genesis spray, I adore it!

I have used it 2 or 3 times already, but I haven't seen any magic yet, so I'm not sure if it should be blamed. It smells nice and does its job well.

Great shampoo. Just what I needed! It cleanses superbly. I had to wash my hair daily, in the morning specifically, because if I wash it in the evening, it would be dirty by morning; now, I can go every other day, sometimes even every two days before the third. My 8-year-old daughter also loves it, her golden locks look like they're straight out of a salon. I, on the other hand, need to put in more effort.

Awful shampoo (from personal experience)

I recently had the unfortunate experience of trying out a shampoo that I can only describe as terrible. The product itself left me highly dissatisfied and disappointed.

First and foremost, the shampoo's performance was subpar. It failed to effectively clean my hair, leaving it feeling greasy and heavy. It lacked the ability to remove excess oil and dirt, which ultimately resulted in a lackluster appearance.

Furthermore, the scent of the shampoo was quite unpleasant. Instead of offering a refreshing and pleasant fragrance, it emitted an overpowering and artificial smell that lingered on my hair long after washing. This was not only bothersome to me, but also to those around me, as the fragrance was quite strong and intrusive.

Additionally, the shampoo did not provide the expected hydration and nourishment for my hair. Instead of leaving my locks feeling soft and moisturized, it had a drying effect, making them appear dull and lifeless. This was definitely not the result I was hoping for.

In terms of packaging, the design was lackluster and unappealing. The bottle itself was not user-friendly, making it difficult to dispense the product efficiently. This was a frustrating aspect, as it wasted both time and shampoo.

Overall, I cannot recommend this

In my case, this shampoo dries out my thin hair, making it stiff even after conditioning, and there is no shine. I am once again convinced that the Genesis series is the best.

I purchased this series (shampoo, mask, conditioner, and serum) to try out after using Vichy Dercos Densi-Solutions (shampoo + conditioner) which did not work for me at all - my hair tangled easily and felt very dry.

I have been using it for over a month now and I am very satisfied. My hair has noticeably reduced shedding, it is very manageable, smooth, and looks much healthier.

However, I'm not quite sure why I bought the conditioner. Since I wash my hair a couple of times a week, I decided to alternate between using the mask and the conditioner (I read an expert's advice from the brand about this) and the difference in results is obvious. After using the conditioner, my hair becomes "dryer" much faster and overall it doesn't have the same restorative effect as the mask.

I would like to mention separately that the instructions for using the products could be better - especially on the packaging. Nowhere are the "details" mentioned, which the brand expert described in the answers...

For example:
1. The shampoo should be applied in two stages - the first time it cleans the hair and scalp from dirt, and during the second application, it starts to "work".
2. Before applying the mask or conditioner, the hair should be dried with a towel.
3. It is important to avoid applying the mask or conditioner to the scalp, but only to the hair.
4. And most importantly, it is recommended to use either the mask or the conditioner, not both.

In any case, if we evaluate the actual experience of use and the results - I highly recommend this product line. It worked for me, at least :)

I ordered this shampoo for the first time and was already satisfied after the first use. My hair feels very smooth and doesn't get frizzy. I've also noticed less hair left on my comb. I tried a sample of this product and it cleaned my hair well and gave it volume, so I decided to order the full-size version. However, after a couple of uses, it stopped cleansing my hair properly and left my scalp dirty. On the second day, my hair was a complete nightmare, all tangled and greasy. I've never experienced this with any other shampoo. It's just a waste of money.

The shampoo itself is good - it has a great smell and makes the hair softer. However, I didn't notice any effect in terms of strengthening the hair, unfortunately. I used it together with the Kerastase serum from the same line. Perhaps it's individual, and it's preferable to choose similar hair care products based on the recommendations of a cosmetologist. I've seen many people mention problems with dandruff after using it, but personally, I haven't experienced that. Of course, the ingredients list for this product is quite long, so there is a high probability that some components may not be suitable for the scalp.
