The Origin by the brand Tous is a fragrance inspired by the Spanish sun and the spirit of freedom. It is crafted for bold and sensual women who embrace life in search of opportunities. This scent marks the beginning of something new, the birth of sensations and experiences—a small step towards inner harmony and beauty. The composition weaves together floral and fruity notes, creating a balance between sophistication and strength of character.
Top notes open with the freshness of sparkling lemon, followed by the piquant touch of pink pepper. Exotic tangerine fills the air with juicy sweetness, while blackcurrant adds a sweet and tangy berry nuance.
At the heart of the fragrance lies an exquisite, passionate, and tender rose. Alongside it blooms the regal powdery iris, adding elegance and charm to the composition.
Base notes consist of seductive musk, harmoniously blended with the classic woody accords of oriental ambroxan, creating a warm and mysterious trail. White vanilla introduces a subtle sweetness to the composition, delicately offset by smoky tonka beans.
I received a sample as a gift and decided to test it out. Unfortunately, the fragrance doesn't last at all. After just an hour, there is no scent left. The smell itself is pleasant, but it lacks depth and complexity. It's like a generic Avon fragrance.
I didn't like this perfume. It reminds me of the scent of a skincare cream, very flat and unremarkable. Maybe it's just me, but it doesn't seem to develop well on my skin. I gave it a chance, but it didn't improve. It lasts for about 3-4 hours. I won't buy it again, it was a waste of money.
Today I tested it at the offline store. The fragrance is very similar to Pure Blanc by Avon. It's the same one that was originally available.
